Zusammenfassung: | Lymphedema symptoms are the most impactful and long-term adverse effects of cancer treatment that many breast cancer survivors face on a daily basis. The-Optimal-Lymph-Flow (TOLF) program is an intervention based on physiological-cognitive-behavioral principles that teaches patients self-management strategies to activate lymphatic system and promote lymph flow to decrease lymphedema symptoms as well as reduce the risk and severity of lymphedema. This data article presents the data obtained from a randomized clinical trial (RCT) that evaluated the use of TOLF program as an early intervention to improve lymphedema symptom experience and optimize lymph fluid levels for breast cancer survivors who were at risk for developing lymphedema. |
