Zusammenfassung: | Btg2 wild type (Btg2-WT) and Btg2 knockout (Btg2-KO) mice of male and of female were fasted for 48 hours and then re-fed for 24 hours. On each time point, body weight of each mouse, lean body mass and fat mass were measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA). We found Btg2-KO mice consume less fat mass during starvation in both sexes, and have lower bone mineral density in female. |
