Zusammenfassung: | A total of 27 fourth-grade pupils (12 girls and 15 boys) aged 8-11 years old (M=9.8±0.7) were recruited voluntarily from a primary school in Shenzhen. The enrolled subjects had normal vision or corrected vision, normal color discrimination, and right-handedness, and had never participated in similar experiments before. 2.2 Visual experimental materials According to the form of Shulte Grid (5X5 grid), 120 pictures of pure black digits and 120 pictures of red-black digits were formulated and then numbered in an order of 001-120. Each cell contains a random unrepeated number from 1-25. Red-black pictures of digits were formed based on pictures of pure black digits to turn the ones in odd cells into red. For example, there were similar digit and different color in the picture numbered 001 The time spent in the Shulte Grid (5X5) test was recorded in the process of experiment. In other words, included children were informed by the tester to find digits 1, 2 and 3 in sequence or digit 5 directly by using the Schulte Grid. The time taken was recorded at the same time to assess the attention of children. |
