Zusammenfassung: | This data set was created with the aim of error analysis of A1 CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) level writing exam papers of 177 learners, who learn Turkish as L2. The data collection materials included an A1 level assessment exam and a demographic information survey. The set covers RAW data of errors, gender, age, the number of languages the learner knows, the language family of L1, county of residence. After creating frequency and density tables of errors, we ran inferential statistical tests. According to our analysis, there is a relationship between error frequency and learner group (Arabic-Farsi, Turkic, Balkan, and Other). The error density varied as a function of the learner group. There is also a relationship between error frequency and language family of the learner's mother language. On the other hand, there is no significant difference in error density by language family. The number of languages the learner knows, and gender has no significant effect on error frequency and density. |
