Zusammenfassung: | The appropriate selection of the design parameters as a TMS and the decision of their values were the important factors in establishing control over the maximum battery’s module temperature and performance. The design parameters and their range values were selected for developing a more successful cooling system on the basis of the review of previous works. In this work, the hybrid cooling system studied experimentally and numerically. In experimental tests the effect of natural and forced convection considered on the module temperature and the uniformity of temperature. For further consideration validate the simulation with experimental data. Afterward, various design parameters, such as the different inlet velocity, different ambient temperatures, and different spacing between the cells in the module have simulated. Moreover, the influence of adding heat pipe and HPCS has been considered. All these parameters and designs have a high influence on controlling the temperature rise and maintaining uniform heat distribution between the cells in the module. The effect of a number of above-mentioned parameters on Li-ion battery module temperature was observed in various studies. However, there is no study on the effect of L shape heat pipe when the condenser and evaporator located inside the pack. |
