Zusammenfassung: | A systematic review of the literature was conducted by identifying the studies of CoQ10 supplementation on oocytes and embryos. PubMed and Science Direct were utilized as the primary databases for the systematic search. This review was carried out in accordance with the PRISMA recommendations for systematic review protocols (PRISMA-P).
Analysis of the seven identified articles revealed that CoQ10 supplementation may yield beneficial effects on oocyte and early embryonic development. It appears to diminish oxidative stress-induced damage, enhance mitochondrial activity, and improve ATP levels. |
