Data for: Quantifying topography-guided actin dynamics across scales using optical flow

This dataset archives time lapse images of fluorescent actin in two types of cells (epithelial MCF10A and neutrophil-like HL60) plated on flat or nanoridged surfaces. These images show that nanoridged surfaces are capable of reproducibly guiding actin waves (esotaxis) in both cell types. This datase...

Zusammenfassung:This dataset archives time lapse images of fluorescent actin in two types of cells (epithelial MCF10A and neutrophil-like HL60) plated on flat or nanoridged surfaces. These images show that nanoridged surfaces are capable of reproducibly guiding actin waves (esotaxis) in both cell types. This dataset is further described in Lee, Campanello, et al. 2020 (https://www.molbiolcell.org/doi/abs/10.1091/mbc.E19-11-0614), the first reporting of this data in the peer-reviewed literature. This publication should be referenced for details on the context and analysis of this data. The included README.TXT provides a more detailed description of the images and methodology. Acknowledgements: We thank the University of Maryland Imaging Incubator Core Facility for use of their spinning disk confocal in collecting these images. Collection of these images was supported by AFOSR grant number FA9550-16-1-0052 as well as by NCI/NIH Award Number T32CA154274 (RML).
