Taxonomic Checklist of the mosses from Mt Trusmadi of Sabah, Malaysian Borneo

This dataset is an updated checklist of the moss flora of Mt Trusmadi, NTFR in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, based on identified collections of M. Suleiman, M.A.M. Andi, and previous specimens deposited in Sandakan Herbarium (SAN) and BORNEENSIS Herbarium (BORH). A total of 903 moss specimens collected from the study area were examined in this study. From this collection, 229 species, five subspecies, and 19 varieties belonging to 110 genera and 37 families of mosses have been identified and updated based on recent taxonomic classifications. These exclude all the specimens that were only identified up to the genus level.
