Zusammenfassung:In this paper we analyse the first evidences of Punic and Phoenician metrology found in the Phoenician colonies in South and Southeastern Iberian Peninsula and the influence of this units of measurement and its geometrical and architectural knowledge through the Iron Age within protohistoric communities of Alicante (southern Iberian Peninsula). Finally we propose a process of interaction between Punic metrology and roman architecture in the site of Tossal de Manises (Alicante) as a result of the transformation of the Punic units of measurement during the Roman Republican period (2nd-1st century BC).
