Protocolo de evaluación de proyectos e iniciativas tecnológicas en el ámbito de las Smart Cities

This final project is the definition of a protocol for the evaluation of projects and initiatives focused on technological field of smart cities. This protocol will be developed in order to define the degree of maturity and technological feasibility, their level of sustainability and durability over time, and its impact on the city and its citizens. The objectives of this project are: · To propose actions to facilitate the interaction of the different stakeholders to develop proposals to materialize it in pilot projects, incorporating open innovation dynamics that capture knowledge beyond the boundaries of public administration or entity that promote such proposals. · The preparation of project proposals with corresponding data and details in each case. Proposals should include data and measurable objectives. Also, it should include monitoring and evaluation indicators related to the field of smart cities. · The definition and development of a pilot project to assess its impact on a limited and realistic level. · The decision criteria for the pilot project outcomes and the acceptance and implementation of city-wide project by the public administration. · Monitoring of the implementation and subsequent evaluation of the results achieved by the project. The project contextualizes the topic with a review of the literature. Subsequently, a proposed protocol adapted to the evaluation of initiatives and technological projects is presented. For the validation of this proposed protocol has been prepared a template with different questions which can be used such a guide for the protocol generated. To validate it, we have chosen two technology projects provided by the Municipal Institute of Information from Barcelona City Council. The feedback obtained thanks to the validation, confirms that the proposed protocol is right and can be used as a methodological guide when developing projects and technology initiatives. And thanks to the process, it has been proposed possible improvements to the bureaucratic processes that now are held by the public administration. Este proyecto final de carrera consiste en la definición de un protocolo de actuación para la evaluación de proyectos e iniciativas de carácter tecnológico centradas en el ámbito de las smart cities, que permitan definir su grado de madurez y de viabilidad tecnológica, su grado de sostenibilidad y perdurabilidad en el tiempo, y su impacto en la ciudad y en los ciudadanos.
