Disseny de sistemes en l’àmbit TIC per a la millora dels serveis als residents d’una llar d’avis

This study has been developed to apply ICT systems at Montblanc retirement home located in Manresa. The aim was to improve the offered services and the safety of elderly residents. First of all, the present situation was analysed to know how the workers of each department work and also the present retirement home ICT systems was reviewed. Then, the process to carry out the solutions was started. These solutions were divided in three branches:  Research present systems in the market to solve problems of the laundry department, the retirement home internal communications system and the Internet network.  Implement a prototype web page to manage kitchen.  Design a system to detect the elderly falls with wireless communications.
