Zusammenfassung: | The paper describes the design of a post-wimp interface for an application of virtual navigation in a theater. The application is aimed at stimulating the interest of young children for theater in general and opera in particular. Using the navigator before and after a concert, the theatral experience is extended throughout time. The interface is designed taking into account that users may not have computer parctice and even may not know reading. Therefore, the classical menus have been removed from the interface and substituted by graphical objects with a reduced number of functions that simulate the actual behaviour of the entities that they represent. The application is implemented in VRML and can be launched from internet. The usability tests show that it is easy to learn and use without need of written documentation. |
