Fractional-slot permanent magnet synchronous generator for low voltage applications

This paper considers the implementation andapplication of a small direct drive fractional-slot permanent magnet synchronous generator for low voltages applications indistributed generation. Finite element analysis of the generator is performed and the results are compared with those obtainedby test.
