Zusammenfassung: | Leaf stripe caused by P. graminea, which has not been recorded in Western Australia for the last 2 decades, reappeared on Forrest barley in 1987. Of several fungicides applied as seed dressings in experiments at Merredin, Mount Barker and Narrogin, carboxin gave the best control. It is suggested that reappearance of leaf stripe may be due to the susceptibility of Forrest barley and the ineffectiveness of the widely used triadimenol.
