Zusammenfassung:In this paper, the variation of axial velocity of blood plasma with arterial radius has been studied in the laminar flow of blood plasma through a non-deformed artery. Since blood plasma is a Newtonian fluid, the Hagen-Poiseuille flow was used to study this variation. The Hagen-Poiseuille model was obtained by transforming the Navier- Stokes equations from rectangular coordinates system to cylindrical coordinates system and then making some approximations to the transformed equations. Furthermore, the axial velocity of blood plasma was plotted against the radius of a sampled artery, results and conclusions were made between the relationships.
