Zusammenfassung: | The effect of the radiation impedance of arrayed transducers in water on radiation sound power is discussed. The mutual radiation impedance is calculated for two identical square piston transducers vibrating in an infinite rigid plane. Using the numerical values of the radiation impedance, radiated power response curves are given for arrays with 12 transducers operating in various modes. In low frequency regions below coincidence frequency, sound absorption caused by acoustic interaction effects between transducers is confirmed both theoretically and experimentally. |
