Zusammenfassung: | Elastic compliance constants were measured of several kinds of adhesive layers in a quartz-quartz composite-bar resonator by using a proposed equation. By taking the constants of the adhesive layer into consideration, the elastic compliance constants of some crystals were obtained. For many kinds of high-polymer adhesives, this correction was found necessary for obtaining elastic compliance constants at higher temperatures. Further by using the same equation, the density of the adhesive layers was obtained. |
