Zusammenfassung: | The usefulness and effectiveness of the CD-ROM Search System at the Medical Library of Tottori University was evaluated through a questionnaire survey of end-users. The survey consisted of questions on times of use of CD-ROM and online search, selection of search terms, ease of operation, coverage, and so on. Results indicated that end-users found the system easy and user-friendly to master and operate. However, promotion of the system's use, end-user education and staff training need to be accelerated, and online and CD-ROM should always co-exist. |
