Como conclusões principais, salientam-se: entre os fatores que contribuem para a não escolarização no contexto pesquisado, se enfatizam a falta de transporte escolar, a qualidade do ensino (descontextualizado) na escola no campo, as questões de natureza financeira, a violência no campo, a distância das residências para as escolas e a falta de professores, muitos são oriundos dos espaços urbanos. This study's central theme is the schooling of residents of the Bom Lugar I Settlement, Upanema – RN. The research was characterized as a quantitative study, of the field research type. The technique used to produce the data refers to the questionnaire composed of 11 closed and open questions. Fifty residents of Assentamento Bom Lugar I, Upanema – RN participated in the study. As main conclusions, the following stand out: among the factors that contribute to non-schooling in the researched context, emphasis is placed on the lack of school transport, the quality of teaching (decontextualized) at school in the countryside, financial issues, violence in the countryside, the distance from homes to schools and the lack of teachers, many coming from urban spaces. El tema central de este estudio es la escolarización de los residentes del Asentamiento Bom Lugar I, Upanema – RN. Se partió del siguiente problema de investigación: ¿cuál es el nivel de escolaridad de los residentes del Asentamiento Bom Lugar I, Upanema-RN? Se destaca, como objetivo general, investigar, a partir de un estudio de campo, la escolaridad de los residentes del Asentamiento Bom Lugar I, Upanema – RN. La investigación se caracterizó por ser un estudio cuantitativo, del tipo investigación de campo. La técnica utilizada para producir los datos hace referencia al cuestionario compuesto por 11 preguntas cerradas y abiertas. Participaron del estudio cincuenta residentes del Assentamento Bom Lugar I, Upanema – RN. Como principales conclusiones se destacan las siguientes: entre los factores que contribuyen a la no escolarización en el contexto investigado se destaca la falta de transporte escolar, la calidad de la enseñanza (descontextualizada) en las escuelas del campo, las cuestiones financieras, la violencia en el campo, la distancia entre los hogares y las escuelas y la falta de docentes, muchos de ellos provenientes de espacios urbanos.
