Tel Yavne, Areas B and D

In August-December 2019 and March-August 2020, a trial excavation was conducted in Area B, and, in October-November 2020, a trial excavation was conducted in Area D to the south of Tel Yavne (Permit Nos. A-8520, A-8565; map ref. 176/641), prior to the construction of a residential neighborhood. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Israel Land Authority, was directed by L. Nadav-Ziv and E. Haddad, with the assistance of Y. Elisha, G.
