Zusammenfassung:In November-December 2015 and December 2016-March 2017, two trial excavations were conducted at the prehistoric site of Moza (Permit Nos. A-7541, A-7864; map ref. 215653/633171), prior to the construction of Highway No. 16 linking the Moza Junction to western Jerusalem. The excavations, undertaken by the Israel Antiquities Authority and financed by the Netivei Israel National Transport Infrastructure Company, were directed by J. Vardi (A-7541, A-7864) and S. Mizrahi (A-7864), with the assistance of S. Kisilevitz, Z. Matskevich, M. Oron and H. Makhlin (area supervision), N. Nehama (administration), M. Kahan, V. Essman and Y. Shmidov (surveying and drafting), M. Birkenfeld (GIS), A. Weigmann (photogrammetric documentation and aerial photography), E. Aladjem (aerial photography), Griffin Company (aerial photography), E.
