Eṭ-Ṭaiyiba, Ḥorbat Ḥadad

In August 2015, a trial excavation was conducted at the site of et-Taiyiba (Horbat Hadad; Permit No. A-7488; map ref. 242447/723503), prior to construction. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was directed by E.C.M. van den Brink, with the participation of Y. Ya‘aqobi (administration), M. Kunin (surveying and drafting), N. Feig (pottery description) and H. Tahan-Rosen (pottery drawings). Y. Harel supervised the digging of the trial trenches prior to the excavation.
