Bene Deqalim

In February-March and June 2014, a trial excavation was conducted at the settlement of Bene Deqalim in the Lakhish region (Permit No. A-7044, map ref. 191374-2976/602181-3708), prior to construction. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and financed by the Ministry of Construction and Housing, was directed by V. Lifshits (photography), with the assistance of M.
