Maresha (West)

In February 2012, an underground rock-hewn complex was documented west of Maresha (map ref. of the entrance shaft to the complex: 189401/611128), which was discovered during an inspection conducted by the Unit for the Prevention of Antiquities Robbery. The documentation of the complex, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was performed by E. Klein and A. Klein (drafting and photography), with the assistance of G. Goldenberg, B. Zissu (photography) and Y. Zissu.
