Zusammenfassung:University teaching, as part of its practical exercise, demands an attractive field to investigate the psychological processes, implicit in the dynamics of teachers and students, under the bidirectionality of teaching and learning, which promote the exploration of the attitudes of the teacher and under his professional practice the andragogic attitudes, which are structured under cognition,  motivation and behaviors. The objective of this research was to evaluate the andragogical attitudes of teachers and student well-being in a higher education institute in the city of Guayaquil. Through a methodology with a quantitative approach, explanatory scope, non-experimental design and cross-sectional section; through a stratified random sampling of 48 teachers and 125 students. The instruments were adapted and validated for the study of variables using the Likert scale. Their results showed the predominance of horizontality in both populations, with the variable andragogical attitude and feelings associated with a low level of well-being.
