Zusammenfassung:The two contemporary institutions -Belgrade Ballet and Radio Belgrade -have developed at the same time, and the intertwining of their activities is significant in looking at the history of ballet and development of radiophony in Serbia. Considering that the radio is primarily an auditory mass media, and that ballet is an art that predominantly communicates with the audience on a visual level, the basic question arises as to how the image and movement, exclusively through speech, music and noises, are brought to life in the consciousness of the listeners. One of the oldest shows that is still on the reguar program of RTS - Radio Belgrade 1 is the show '' At Two White Pigeons'' ("Kod dva bela goluba") which sheds light on events, places and personalities that have developed Belgrade and Serbia through their work for centuries. This paper investigates the way the Serbian ballet is represented in the show ''At Two White Pigeons", namely how much domestic ballet has been represented in this radio show, how it has been thematically treated, what the role of music is and how the reruns of shows have been treated.
