Zusammenfassung: | The codex Basel, Universitätsbibliothek A‑X‑44, from the collection of the medieval Dominican convent of Basel, has been mentioned in a few recent publications in connection with the names of Nicholas of Dinkelsbühl1 and Jean Buridan2. With just a one‑line quotation (on f. 12) from Buridan’s Quaestiones super X libros Ethicorum3, the manuscript is hardly a new witness of Buridan’s work, but it is an extremely valuable testimony, still unexplored, of the first years of intellectual activity in the Faculty of Theology of the medieval university of Vienna. |
