Zusammenfassung: | Metastasis to the abdominal wall from gastric cancer is rare. We report a case of advanced gastric cancer discovered with an abdominal wall tumor. The patient was a 61-year-old man who noticed a 3 x 2cm subcutaneous mass in the epigastric region. The tumor increased to about 5cm in size by 6 months later, and adenocarcinoma was detected by needle biopsy. The patient was found to have gastric cancer with pyloric stenosis after further examinations. We performed distal gastrectomy and extripation of the abdominal wall tumor. As the gastric cancer did not invade the abdominal wall, the abdominal wall lesion was considered to be hematogenous metastasis from the gastric cancer. |
