Zusammenfassung:A 70-year-old man was admitted to our hospital because of abdominal fullness, pain and vomiting. Two years ago, he had complete remission by the treatment for primary malignant lymphoma of the right tonsil. An abdominal X-ray study showed gas in the small intestine and a small bowel gastrogram examination revealed a jejunal stricture with a relatively clear margin. With these suggestions of a malignant tumor of the small intestine, laparotomy was performed. Partial resection of the small intestine with regional lymphnode dissection were carried out. Macroscopically, a Borrmann 2 type-like tumor measuring 70×45 mm in size was found. Histologically, the diagnosis was malignant lymphoma, diffuse, medium-sized cell, and B-cell type with exposure to the serosal surface and no lymphnode metastasis. Many ceses of lymphoma involving both Waldeyer's ring and the gastrointestinal tract have been reported in the literature, but this case is the first to report involvement of the jejunum. The patient has been in good health for 6 months postoperatively, without evidence of recurrent signs.
