Zusammenfassung:Literature shows that a large part of software projects exceeds the amount of effort and estimation duration, even though we currently witness an evolution of software project management discipline. Through its best practices, software engineering tries to reduce the flaws in software development. Several techniques and resources have been presented to help to reduce this problem. This paper aims to propose an approach based on action research to improve the estimation process in software development tasks by identifying problems. A case study is carried out to show the effectiveness of our approach. The results show an improvement of 50% accuracy over the baseline estimation process.
