Zusammenfassung:This paper presents a method of PI control parameter tuning based on the estimated maximum step disturbance and the allowable peak value of the controlled variable and shows its effectiveness and limitation by simulation studies. This method is very useful to tune control parameters for chemical processes where limitations on loss prevention and quality control are represented by peak values of controlled variables.
