PRECONCEITO E BULLYING NO ENSINO SUPERIOR: A IDADE COMO VARIÁVEL DE ANÁLISE

This research aimed to verify possible relationships between age and personality characteristics, such as sadomasochism, fragility of the Self and narcissism, and between age and the type of violence manifested by higher education students throughout their school life. The sample, composed of 172 academics from 12 undergraduate courses from public and private institutions based in the northwest of Paraná, was applied the following research instruments: a division of the Fascism Scale into: Scale F of sadomasochism and Scale F of Fragility of the Self; Narcissistic characteristics scale; Scale of manifestation of prejudice, divided into the following targets: ethnicities, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+; Moral Prejudice Scale; Bullying Scale and Bullying Target Scale. The results indicate that the increase in age is positively related to fascist behavior, prejudice against people with disabilities, against minority groups and against LGBTQIA+ people. Esta pesquisa objetivou verificar possíveis relações entre idade e características de personalidade, como o sadomasoquismo, a fragilidade do Eu e o narcisismo, e entre a idade e o tipo de violência manifestada por alunos do ensino superior, ao longo de sua vida escolar. À amostra, composta por 172 acadêmicos de 12 cursos de graduação de instituições públicas e privadas sediadas no noroeste do Paraná, foram aplicados os seguintes instrumentos de pesquisa: uma divisão da Escala de Fascismo em: Escala F de sadomasoquismo e Escala F de Fragilidade do Eu; Escala de características narcisistas; Escala de manifestação de preconceito, dividida nos seguintes alvos: etnias, pessoas com deficiência, LGBTQIA+; Escala de Preconceito Moral; Escala de Bullying e Escala Alvo do Bullying. Os resultados indicam que o aumento da idade se relaciona positivamente com o comportamento fascista, com o preconceito contra pessoas com deficiência, contra grupos minorizados e contra pessoas LGBTQIA+.
