Zusammenfassung:The aim of the study was to assess the changes on the market of grape production in Poland, and an attempt to systematize data on this production coming from various statistical sources. Changes in the number of vineyards were analyzed in detail, both nationwide and provincial. The sources of data used for the calculations were the annual Polish Classification of Activities (PKD) and data from the National Center for Agricultural Support (NCAS ). The research carried out indicates that this type of production is characterized by very dynamic development. According to data from NCAS , in 2017/2018, there were 201 vineyards in Poland, which is 673.1% more than in 2009/2010. The area of viticulture increased significantly, which in the 2017/2018 marketing year was by as much as 871.1% higher.
