Zusammenfassung: | Very often at school or university it is necessary to solve stereometric problems related to finding the volume of a body. Depending on the shape of the body, this can be a difficult task. To overcome this difficulty, it can be used Simpson's rule (prismoidal formula). The prismoidal formula is basically Simpson's rule and it is obtained by integrating the area parallel to the two planes of vertices. This formula can be used in finding and calculating the volume of polyhedral and solids of rotation - pyramids, prisms, parallelepipeds, wedges, cupolaes, antiprisms, cones, cylinders, spheres, etc. |
