The purpose of this study is to assess the relationship between holistic admissions criteria and occupational therapy program ranking. A retrospective cross-sectional cohort descriptive study design was used. Programs using holistic admissions criteria weren’t statistically different from programs that didn’t use holistic admissions criteria on their overall ranking programs (χ2 = 0.55, p = 0.46), which indicates that use of holistic admission criteria doesn’t negatively impact program ranking.
