This study aimed to understand the perspectives of OT practitioners in addressing grief with individuals who sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The participants identified general and OT-specific approaches when addressing mood and psychosocial distress in therapy sessions. They also acknowledged the loss of roles and the valued supports of each client during recovery. This session will provide an overview of grief and the need to address it in the recovery process.
