New taxa of the Order Discoasterales Hay 1977

Three new genera of coccolithophores are introduced and one genus is emended. Six new species are described. They are part of the so-called first radiation of the fasciculiths that began in the latest Danian and constitute a marker for correlation of the Danian/Selandian boundary.
