Zusammenfassung: | An accurate particle method suited for the simulation of high viscosity fluid flow in a partially filled mixer was developed in this study, which was based on the element free Galerkin method (EFGM) with a nodal integration scheme. To improve the inaccuracy caused by the irregular distribution of particles, a particle rearrangement method was employed. Through several numerical tests, it was verified that the present method developed in this study is applicable to the improvement of some problems related to very large elongation and rotation with sufficient efficiency and accuracy. |
