Computer-Assisted Total Material Design of Woven Fabrics for Apparel Use: Part 3 : Methods for Determining Priority, Suitability, Conceptual Design Phase and Related Application Examples

In our earlier works the fundamental structure of 'Total Material Design System' has been presented. The basic idea of the suitability judgement method to calculate the suitability of the designed parameter was dealt. Further, the detailed system development and its application example has been illustrated. This paper mainly deals with the methods of determining the priority, suitability and optimization procedures which are importance functions of TMDS. The role of each functions are dealt in detail to show the methodology and their important. Three case studies were illustrated to show the priority, suitability and optimization methodology. Further, a simple methodology to assist in deducing the conceptual design is dealt with some case studies.
