Zusammenfassung:Polyester/cotton blended fabrics were pre-treated in a plasma discharge by a graft polymerization with acrylic acid. The grafted layers were ionized with NaOH solution. The antistaticity of pre-treated fabrics was investigated with the carrier mobility. The carrier mobility of grafted polymerized fabrics was considerably decreased with the decreasing humidity. The carrier mobility of the ionized fabrics, however, was little decreased with the decreasing humidity. It was suggested that the antistaticity was mainly ascribed to the ionization, but not so much the hydrophile on the surface. It was also suggested that the ionization was contributed to the effective antistaticity at the low humidity.
