The recommended equation for estimating the mean diameter d0m in μ of the drop is asfollows . d0m=14.1+0.000293h2+41.0(1000Qι/Qan)1.5+646(1/ p'c)1.5, where, h is the suction lift of the feed water in cm, Qan/Qι is the ratio of the quantity of the injected air and water, p'c is the injectedair pressure in cm Hg. The economical conditions of the atomizer are h=35cm, Qan/Qι= 6.9 × 103, p'c=26cm Hg, and d0m=20.9μ. |
