Zusammenfassung: | The available soil moisture regime necessary for maximum yield of grain was dependent upon temperature. Ambient temperature or soil moisture regimes which restricted yield of oats generally, increased the nutrient percentage of grain and straw tissue. The nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium percentages associated with maximum yield were different for each temperature or moisture regime employed. The position of the curve relating yield and leaf nitrogen percentage as they respond to nitrogen fertilization was also temperature-dependent. |
