Zusammenfassung: | In volume VIII of this Journal two articles appeared, which have a bearing upon the subject of the occurrence of the four generally recognized blood groups among different races. In view of the desirability to publish in one periodical work on one particular subject, it is our intention to present in a concise way the results which we obtained by study, along the lines laid down by the Hirszfelds, of a few races, living together on the East Coast of Sumatra (Dutch East Indies).
As far as concerns the theoretical basis upon which these studies are founded and previous literature on this subject we might refer to the papers of Fukamachi (1) and of Coca and Deibert (2) in this Journal. |
