Studies of Blood Group Antibodies
Both before and after receipt of a specific antigenic stimulus, individuals of blood group O tend to produce isoagglutinin (predominantly of sedimentation value S7) which migrates electrophoretically with the γ2-globulins, whereas subjects of blood groups A and B tend to produce isoagglutinin of pre...

Zusammenfassung: | Both before and after receipt of a specific antigenic stimulus, individuals of blood group O tend to produce isoagglutinin (predominantly of sedimentation value S7) which migrates electrophoretically with the γ2-globulins, whereas subjects of blood groups A and B tend to produce isoagglutinin of predominantly S19 sedimentation value which migrates with the γ1-globulins.
The implications of these findings in the reactive patterns of certain disease states are discussed. |
