Further Studies on Guinea Pig Skin Sensitizing Activities of Human Myeloma Proteins
Guinea pigs may be sensitized for reverse passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (RPCA) by the following human γG subclasses: γG1, γG3 and γG4. Native or reduced and alkylated γG2 and γE are unable to do so. Sensitization is independent of the light chain type and also of Gm determinants. Incomplete molecule...

Zusammenfassung: | Guinea pigs may be sensitized for reverse passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (RPCA) by the following human γG subclasses: γG1, γG3 and γG4. Native or reduced and alkylated γG2 and γE are unable to do so. Sensitization is independent of the light chain type and also of Gm determinants. Incomplete molecules from heavy chain diseases of subclasses γG1, γG3 or γG4, but not of subclass γG2, may sensitize guinea pig skin. RPCA reactions may be obtained with anti-light chain antibodies with γG1, γG3 or γG4. |
