Relationship between the activity of superoxide anion production by neutrophils and plasma TNF-α and IL-8 levels in hemodialysis patients

Relationships between maximal superoxide anion production by neutrophils and plasma tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) were studied in patients during hemodialysis. The subjects were 28 hemodialysis patients (HD-Ps) at our hospital and 21 persons undergoing intensive health screening, who served as the controls (CTs).
