Space power(s) gender – socio- spatial control of prostitution and the bourgeois gender order

Using the example of the city of Frankfurt am Main the paper examines the conflict relationship between increasing acceptance and persistent demands for stringent controls that characterizes the perception of prostitution in Germany today.
