Zusammenfassung:Taking the example of the limestone statuary as a starting point, this communication offers some reflections on Cypriot garment, the materials of a different nature (linen, wool, leather) used in the making of clothing and the various effects it produces both on the wearer and the viewer. Including the adornment and the headdress, all the five senses are stimulated. Moreover, we insist on a particular case, the tunic short sleeved with a pleating worn by the “Temple Boys” displaying his genitals.
