What is Europe?

Several recent developments—most notably the mass immigrations caused by strife, war and poverty, and the Brexit vote in the United Kingdom—have drawn intense attention to the question “What is Europe?,” and it is urgent that we turn this debate also to the subject of architecture and its history.
