Zusammenfassung:Intravenous rt-PA thrombolytic therapy for acute ischemic stroke was approved to on October 2005 in Japan. According to stroke care guidelines, we should urge to make stroke team, stroke unit and emergency system with stroke speciality to establish the high-quality stroke center everywhere in Japan. Prospective multi-center study for stroke care unit was introduced and future SCU was discussed.
